Cult shooters in 4K: IGN journalists show 20 minutes of gameplay of remasters from Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection

Tomorrow - 14th March - will see the release of Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, which will include two slightly updated versions of the iconic shooters from 2004 and 2005.

To give gamers an idea of what to expect from the re-released classics, IGN channel has released an extensive gameplay video.

Here's What We Know

In the video journalists showed gameplay of Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Battlefront II on modern platforms, and the video was recorded in 4K at 60FPS.

Players will have access to all content from both games, and all platforms will feature exclusive characters that were once only available on Xbox Original.

In addition to regular soldiers, players will be able to take control of iconic characters from the Star Wars franchise and use their abilities to turn the tide of battle.

Battlefront Classic Collection features both intense story campaigns that replicate the events of the film saga and intense online battles, even in outer space.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch and two-generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
