Samsung Galaxy A53 will receive a security update for March 2024

Samsung continues to support its popular Galaxy A53 device.

Here's What We Know

This is an update, designated as firmware A536EXXS8DXB5, which addresses over 44 identified security flaws.

Although it is not an update to the upcoming One UI 6.1, it sets the stage for future updates and improvements. The software is available for users in various Latin American countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

How To Switch It On

To update the device, users are prompted to open the Settings app, navigate to the Software Update section, and select the Download & Install option.
