The developers of Final Fantasy 16 have announced the next free update for the game: new quests, Quick Complete feature, and more.

At PAX East 2024, the Final Fantasy 16 development team shared details about the upcoming paid expansion pack The Rising Tide, which we wrote about earlier. But if you're still playing the base version of the game, a free update with some useful improvements is coming soon.

Here's What We Know

For example, the "Quick Complete" feature will be added, which will allow you to complete quests much easier, because you can instantly return to the person who gave the quest. In addition, collectibles from Clive's Wall of Memories now have clearer icons. The new Skill Set feature allows you to store and switch between five sets of abilities and feats.

Abilities, accessories, and button layouts have also been tweaked, and the photo mode has received improvements such as tonal effects and more. Collectors of Orchestrion rolls will be pleased with 40 new rolls, including some from the battles of Eikon.
