Amazon has invested $4 billion in Anthropic

Amazon has invested another $2.75 billion in Anthropic's development, bringing its total investment to $4 billion.

This decision underscores Amazon's strategic interest in the development and application of artificial intelligence. Anthropic is known for its advanced AI models, which are in competition with major players such as OpenAI and Google.

At the end of September last year, Amazon signed a $1.25 billion deal with Anthropic. According to the terms of the deal, the company had an option to increase its investment to a maximum amount of $4 billion by the end of the first quarter of this year.

Anthropic, like many other AI companies, uses the large computing capacity provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to implement its innovative projects.
