vivo has released a new software version for the iQOO 12 and iQOO Neo 9 series of smartphones, in which it has added a useful innovation.

In the new firmware, the manufacturer has activated Wi-Fi 7. About this the company told on its page in Weibo. Unfortunately, the system released only for devices in China. Whether Wi-Fi 7 models of the global market will get it is still unknown.

Wi-Fi 7 is a new wireless standard, also known as IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT). It operates in three bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz) and provides up to 46 Gbps throughput. That's 4.8 times faster than Wi-Fi 6 and 13 times faster than Wi-Fi 5.
