The merger of organics and synthetics will begin in May: Paradox Interactive has revealed the release date for The Machine Age add-on for Stellaris

The developers from Paradox Interactive revealed the release date of the next add-on for the space grand strategy game Stellaris.

Here's What We Know

DLC with the name The Machine Age will be available on the 7th of May.

Its main theme will be the synthesis of organic and synthetic life forms. In Stellaris will appear empires of intelligent machines, and developed organic races are trying to achieve immortality, by merging with virtual space and the introduction of cyberimplants.

The game will feature new buildings, technology, character and nation origins, and six additional soundtracks.

More advanced forms of government will be available to players who manage to succeed in cyberneticisation.

A major free update, 3.12 Andromeda, will also be released alongside the add-on.

The announcement of The Machine Age DLC release date is accompanied by an atmospheric cinematic trailer.
