The story of dark secrets continues: Steve Buscemi will be the new director of Nevermore in the second season of "Wednesday"

Netflix has finally pleased with some fresh information about the upcoming second season of "Wednesday". Now we know who will be the new principal of Nevermore Academy, the role of which was previously played by "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie. Steve Buscemi has been appointed.

Here's What We Know

After the death of the last headmaster at the end of the first season, the head of the academy was left vacant. Now, Buscemi may take over. Although officially, this has not been announced yet, fans of the show are fully satisfied with such a choice.

Over the course of his career, the actor has played many brilliant roles in films ranging from "Fargo" and "The Big Lebowski" to "Boardwalk Empire" and "Reservoir Dogs." There is great confidence that Buscemi will be very harmonious in the role of director Nevermore.

As a reminder, "Wednesday" is a series in the Addams Family franchise that centres on the family's eldest daughter, Wensday. She went to a school for supernatural beings, where she encountered mysterious events and secrets of her parents, which the girl, of course, tries to solve.

The show was a huge hit for Netflix, becoming the streaming service's most popular English-language series of all time.

When We Can Expect It

Filming on season two is due to start this year, so don't expect the premiere until 2025 at the earliest.
