MediaTek unveiled Dimensity 6300: a new processor for budget smartphones
MediaTek is expanding its processor portfolio with the Dimensity 6300.
Here's What We Know
The chip is designed for budget smartphones. It is built on the 6-nanometre TSMC process and has two Cortex A76 cores at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The Mali G57 MC2 GPU is responsible for graphics processing in the novelty. Dimensity 6300 got support for LPDDR4x RAM, as well as UFS 2.2 storage.

The Dimensity 6300-based smartphones will come with WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and FHD+ displays up to 120Hz and cameras up to 108 MP.

The first devices with the Dimensity 6300 chip on board will arrive soon.
