Futurlab studio reported that 12 million people have already played PowerWash Simulator. The game was first made available in the early access in May 2021.

The popularity was influenced by various add-ons in collaboration with well-known series such as Sponge Bob, Back to the Future, or Warhammer 40K. The game was also distributed on PlayStation Plus, which added a couple of million players to the project. And let's not forget about the release of the game for VR headsets.

The studio's CEO, Kirsti, also commented on the event:

We never cease to be amazed at the impact our game has on people. Now that we've reached 12 million players, it's clear that there's a need for games like PowerWash Simulator that bring a calming sense of satisfaction - and we intend to create them!
