Ukrainian Armed Forces start using FPV drones reaching speeds of 150 km/h

The Ukrainian Defence Forces now have FPV drones that can fly at speeds of around 150 kilometres per hour.

Here's What We Know

Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko posted a video showing how pilots of the Erebus Group unit, part of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, easily overtake enemy vehicles.

"Something interesting has happened here. Your drones are now flying at a speed one and a half times higher than before - about 150 km/h. We have no idea how this is possible," Sternenko wrote.

In military circles, the development of FPV drones is highly appreciated. For example, the First Presidential Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine has made significant progress in using FPV drones to drop explosives on target.

The unstoppable development of technology reduces the requirements for pilot skills, as the use of artificial intelligence allows for the automation of many control processes. This makes FPV drones more affordable to use.
