Samsung will update the LockStar app to customise full-screen AoD on the Galaxy S24

Samsung is planning to update the LockStar app soon, which allows users to customise the Lock Screen and Always-On-Display (AoD) on Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately, LockStar doesn't currently offer AoD customisation on Galaxy S24 series smartphones as the app doesn't work with the full-screen AoD that these devices use. But it looks like that's about to change soon.

Here's What We Know

On the Samsung Community forum in Korea, many users have complained that LockStar does not allow them to configure AoD on their Galaxy S24 series devices. In response to their complaints, a moderator confirmed that this is indeed the case, but Samsung is working on a solution to the problem. In other words, the company is working to ensure that LockStar will be able to offer AoD customisation on Galaxy S24 series smartphones.

Unfortunately, Samsung hasn't revealed when it will add this feature. This update is expected to arrive within the next few weeks. The South Korean tech giant has also promised to fix an issue in the LockStar app where icons on the AoD are displayed in a different design from the one shown in the preview. Also, a recent update to the app added the ability to adjust the brightness of the AoD on Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
