The first tools for modifying Darkest Dungeon 2 will be available at the end of June

Developer Red Hook Studios is preparing to release tools for modifying Darkest Dungeon 2 on PC. The first stage is scheduled for the end of June, and the following stages will expand the modification capabilities based on player feedback.
