Rheinmetall to transfer prototypes of artillery shells with a range of up to 100 kilometres to the AFU

The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive prototypes of new shells.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the head of the company Rheinmetall Armin Papperger, reports the German edition of Handelsblatt. We are talking about artillery ammunition, which will be able to hit targets at a distance of up to 100 kilometres. Unfortunately, there are no other details about the projectiles yet. It is also unknown when the delivery of weapons will begin.

By the way, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the AFU has been using 155 mm M982 Excalibur ammunition, which can hit targets at a distance of up to 40.5 km and Vulcano ammunition with a range of up to 70-80 km.
