Naughty Dog reveals plot outline for The Last of Us 3
Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann has shared his thoughts on a possible third The Last of Us game. After the great success of The Last of Us 2, he, along with Hallie Gross, wrote a "story outline" for the new part.

In the Script Apart podcast, Neil Druckmann noted that Naughty Dog has not yet begun work on the third installment of the game, but he hopes that will happen in the future. At least the company had a lot of talks about it. The plot will tell about the events after The Last of Us: Part 2. Druckmann said:
“Now we have two games that I think tell a very personal story of the characters. You can't get an idea of a franchise from one game. With two games, a pattern is starting to emerge and now I feel like there's some structure and themes that we're going to have to stick to in order to make a third game."
According to Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog is currently exploring different ideas: maybe they will make Last of Us 3, return to one of the old games, or create something completely new. Earlier, representatives of the studio said that they are working on a remake of The Last of Us for the PlayStation 5 and are going to release a separate multiplayer game Last of Us.
