iOS 15 fixes an iPhone camera issue you didn't know you had

When you take a picture in low light on your iPhone, the night mode is automatically turned on - this means it takes longer to take the picture, but it ends up being much brighter and you can see what's in the dark. Apparently in iOS 15, there will be an option to disable this automation.

The current beta version of iOS 15, which will be released in its final form in September, includes a setting that allows you to completely disable the automatic Night mode.

You'll still be able to use night mode in the camera app by selecting it manually - the mode simply won't switch automatically when you try to take a normal picture.

Previously, you could disable Night Mode from automatically turning on, but that option only worked until you closed the camera app, so you had to disable it again, which messed up the user experience somewhat.
