Google Pixel 6 Pro - Tensor chip, 48MP telephoto lens, 5000mAh battery, WQHD+ screen and Android 12 starting at $899
As planned, Google has unveiled its flagship Pixel 6 Pro smartphone based on its proprietary Tensor mobile processor, made using 5nm technology.
Specifications
Google claims an 80 percent performance boost for the Tensor chip (compared to what?). The new single chip system has a tri-cluster structure with two 2.8 GHz Cortex-X1 cores simultaneously. There are two more 2.25GHz cores and an energy efficient 1.8GHz quartet. The Mali-G78 is responsible for graphics and the Tensor Processing Unit is responsible for artificial intelligence tasks.
The front side of the Google Pixel 6 Pro features a 6.7" AMOLED WQHD+ display with 10-120Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen.
The capacity of the battery in the novelty was 5000 mAh. The smartphone supports 30-watt wired charging and 23-watt wireless charging. Also note Gorilla Glass Victus, NFC, IP68 water protection, stereo speakers and the Android 12 operating system out of the box. The company promises four OS updates and security patches over five years.
