TCL prepares to release an ultra-budget smartphone with Android 11 Go Edition on board

Chinese manufacturer TCL is going to release on the market its new ultra-budget smartphone. In the network appeared his images and characteristics.

What is known

The device will be called TCL 205. Judging by leaked renders, the novelty will come in two colors: black and blue. The smartphone will get a widescreen display with a teardrop-shaped cutout, as well as a main camera with two sensors. It and the LED flash will be installed in a small rectangular ledge.

As for specs, TCL 205 is ascribed a 6.22-inch panel with resolution HD+. The novelty will also get 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 4000mAh battery and an octa-core processor. The main feature of the device will be the Android 11 Go Edition operating system. If you, all of a sudden, did not know, this is a simplified version of the regular Android 11 OS. It is specifically optimized for devices with weaker hardware and has a lightweight package of Google applications.

TCL 205 will not have an announcement date or a price tag, but we can assume that it will be available on the market by the end of this year. Most likely the device will cost in the region of 100 USD.
