A list of Redmi smartphones that will definitely not update to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition has surfaced online.

Who's on the list

The information was shared by Telegram channel Mi Fans Home. According to the source, the company has canceled the shell release for the following devices:

Redmi Note 7 Pro
Redmi Note 7S
Redmi Note 7
Redmi Y3
Redmi 7
Redmi 7A

The reason for canceling the update is not said, but it's easy to guess that the devices are simply outdated.

Recall that Xiaomi is now preparing for the release of MIUI 13. It should be announced before the end of this year.
