Samsung brings vertical scrolling back to app drawer in One UI 6.1.1

When One UI 6 debuted last autumn, this feature was not available at all.

Here's What We Know

Previously, Samsung's Good Lock modules offered vertical navigation in the app drawer. However, this feature was removed with the release of One UI 6.

With One UI 6.1.1, Samsung intends to restore this functionality and bring back vertical scrolling apps to Good Lock. This update will include the Home Up module, which adds vertical scrolling to the app drawer on Samsung Galaxy phones running One UI.

Samsung's Home Up module offers more than just a vertical app drawer. It also allows users to customise the size of One UI Home folders and the size of the app grid. This means that you can personalise the look of your app drawer, resizing and arranging items to suit your preferences.

Samsung usually releases updates like this in the summer, close to the debut of new phones during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
