DJI re-released Mavic 3 without telephoto lens and controller, but $580 cheaper

DJI introduced the Mavic 3 Classic quadcopter. The new product is a simplified version of the usual Mavic 3.

Here's What We Know

The quadcopter has lost its telephoto lens, and the basic package is even sold without a remote control. At the same time, the drone retained the main camera for 20 MP on the basis of the sensor optical format 4/3". The focal length is 24 mm. The camera can shoot video in 5.1K, 4K UHD and FHD with frame rates of 50 FPS, 120 FPS and 200 FPS respectively.

DJI Mavic 3 Classic offers users 8GB of storage for photos and videos. A 77Wh battery provides a flight time of 46 minutes. The range of the new quadcopter is 30 km.

The drone can recognize and track objects thanks to ActiveTrack 5.0. APAS 5.0 system is responsible for obstacle avoidance. It works through eight sensors that collect information in flight. DJI GEO 2.0 technology reports flight restrictions.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The DJI Mavic 3 Classic is already available to order on the company's official website. The basic package costs $1469, $580 cheaper than the Mavic 3. But it has no remote control. For $1599 you can buy a variant with the DJI RC N1 controller, and pay for the DJI RC version needs $1769.

The Fly More Combo kit is available separately this time for the official price of $649. It includes three pairs of interchangeable propellers, two 77Wh batteries, a charging hub, and an in-car power adapter (65W).
