Samsung announced a new generation of QD-QLED TVs with brightness to 2000 nits and a diagonal of up to 77"

On the eve of CES 2023, Samsung was not limited to the announcement of bendable and/or stretchable panels. Together with Flex Hybrid OLED, Flex Slidable Solo and Flex Slidable Duet, the South Korean manufacturer has presented a new generation of TVs with QD-OLED displays.

Here's What We Know

The 2023 lineup will offer customers 4K ULTRA HD TVs measuring 49", 55", 65" and 77" diagonally. All QD-OLED panels support HyperEfficient EL and IntelliSense AI technologies, and the peak brightness is 2000 nit, which is on par with Mini LED displays.

Artificial intelligence algorithms are responsible for collecting information about each individual pixel in real time. This allows for precise control of light, increasing picture quality while improving energy efficiency (up to 25% compared to 2022 TVs).

Samsung QD-OLED TVs of the 2023 lineup will receive the Tizen operating system with Smart Things support. The cost and start date of sales have not yet been specified. By the way, along with TVs, the company has announced an ultra-wide QD-OLED panel with a 49" diagonal for monitors.
