LG will release an ultra-wide monitor with 100Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support in Europe

LG will soon expand the range of ultra-wide monitors available in Europe. LG 34WQ500-B model LG 34WQ500-B has appeared on the official website of the company in Germany.

Here's What We Know

The monitor features a flat panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21 to 9. The liquid crystal display is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, meaning typical brightness is 400 nits.

The LG 34WQ500-B supports 100Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync technology. The sRGB colour gamut coverage is 98% and response time is 5ms (GtG), but Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) can reduce latency to 1ms for gaming. However, this doesn't work when AMD FreeSync is enabled.

The LG 34WQ500-B has 7W stereo speakers, a USB-C port and a headphone jack in its arsenal. To connect computers and gaming consoles, the monitor has HDMI and DisplayPort.

The price of the LG 34WQ500-B in Europe is not specified at the moment, but it should not be higher than €400. In the US, the monitor sells for $330.
