US suspends use of Apache helicopters after two accidents

The US Army National Guard has temporarily suspended the use of AH-64D Apache attack helicopters after two consecutive crashes.
Here's What We Know
Recently, on 23 February, two US Army pilots, two senior warrant officers, were killed in a crash in Mississippi. The accident occurred during a training flight. In addition, two other crews had been injured in the crash of the same AH-64 a few weeks earlier.
The National Guard will stop using all Apache helicopters for an indefinite period of time to review its safety policy.
It is noted that last year, the US also suspended the use of V-22 Osprey rotary-wing aircraft for the entire fleet after a crash that killed eight pilots on board.
