Redmi 12 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 8GB RAM and Android 13 passed the performance test in Geekbench

Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Redmi 12 5G budget smartphone. The model was recently tested in Geekbench 6.1 software.

Here's What We Know

According to information and benchmark database, the smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor. The performance test was passed by the version with 8GB of RAM, which runs Android 13 operating system.

The Redmi 12 5G has a model number of 2307RN4BI. The last letter indicates that the version for the Indian market has made it to Geekbench. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in India on 1 August.

Last month, Xiaomi had unveiled the Redmi 12 4G powered by Helio G88. The 5G-enabled version is expected to retain the 50MP camera, 90Hz LCD display and a 5000 mA*h battery.
