Xiaomi regularly refreshes the list (End of support), adding new smartphones that will no longer receive updates. However, the Chinese company recently made an unexpected move.

Suddenly, Xiaomi has removed one smartphone from the EOS list. We are talking about the Redmi Note 9 Pro model. It was announced in early 2020 in India, and almost immediately debuted in European countries.

Despite being on the EOS list, the Redmi Note 9 Pro continued to receive security updates to the Android operating system. After a brief hiatus, the Chinese company has refreshed the EOS by removing the smartphone from it.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 720G chip, a Full HD IPS display and a 5020 mA*h battery. The resolution of the main camera was 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, while the front camera is 16 MP.
