Huawei held an event in China where it showed off its new foldable smartphone, the Huawei Pocket 2.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is externally similar to the previous model Pocket S. The gadget received a body 7.25 mm thick and weighing 200 grams, IPX8 protection and tempered glass Kulun 2nd generation. The novelty was equipped with two displays. The main one received LTPO OLED matrix with a diagonal of 6.94", peak brightness of 2200 nits, adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, aspect ratio 21:9 and resolution 2690×1136p. The secondary display in the Huawei Pocket 2 has a round shape, 1.15" diameter, OLED matrix and 360×360p resolution.

The Huawei Pocket 2 runs a Kirin 9000S processor paired with 12/16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The novelty has satellite support, stereo speakers, an under-screen scanner and a triple main camera of 50 MP (with OIS) + 12 MP (ultra-wide-angle module) + 8 MP (telephoto lens with OIS and optical zoom). The front camera in the smartphone is 10.7-megapixel.

The device is powered by a 4520 mAh battery. The smartphone supports 66W wired charging, 40W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse charging. The gadget comes with Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type C and NFC. Out of the box, the novelty features HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Sales of Huawei Pocket 2 will start in China on 1 March. The novelty will compete with Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 and will cost from $1044.
