The most ridiculous smartphone theft has taken place at a Chinese Apple Store. This scheme would be the envy of even Danny Ocean and his friends.

A woman came to the Apple Store to buy an iPhone 14 Plus. However, she was confused by the price, so she decided to steal the smartphone. In China, the iPhone 14 Plus sells for around $960.

As a result, the woman bit the protective cable attached to the display sample of the smartphone with her teeth. The theft process was captured by CCTV cameras.

The kidnapper was able to leave the Apple Store without any problems, but shop employees noticed the loss and contacted the police. Law enforcement found and arrested the thief within 30 minutes. It was after the arrest that the woman said that she went for the theft because she was not satisfied with the cost of the smartphone.
