Support for Microsoft Authenticator for Apple Watch has ended

Microsoft has discontinued support for its Apple Watch authenticator, which means you'll no longer be able to conveniently sign in to your accounts using only your Apple Watch.

The app update, version 6.7.3, states that it is removing the app from the Apple Watch, but you will be able to mirror notifications from the app on your iPhone to your Apple Watch, which is a bit of a convenience.

Microsoft launched a Watch version of the app in 2018 and it proved to be very useful, especially for those who frequently signed in to accounts on different devices, so it's very sad that the company has decided to stop supporting the app.
