The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is another new product from Xiaomi in Europe. The smartphone, along with the Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi Note 12 5G, debuted in the Old World a few months after being announced in China.

Here's What We Know

The European variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a few differences compared to the smartphone, which has been on sale in China since autumn 2022. Firstly, the novelty runs on MIUI 14 straight out of the box, rather than MIUI 13. Although the version of the operating system hasn't changed - Android 13.

Secondly, the European Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is not available in 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants. Buyers can choose between the 8/128GB and 6/128GB versions. The third difference is the price. It has increased significantly, but we'll talk about that a little later.

The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 1080 chip. The main camera resolution is 50 MP (OIS) + 8 MP + 2 MP, while the front camera is 16 MP. The novelty has a 5000mAh battery with 67W charging, stereo speakers, NFC and a 120Hz AMOLED FHD+ 6.67" display.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is priced at €400 and €430 in Europe, depending on the modification. The smartphone has already gone on sale in Sky Blue, Midnight Black and Polar White colours. By comparison, the 6/128GB and 8/128GB versions in China were priced at €215 and €230 respectively.
