OLED displays, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chips and IP67 protection: new details about the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets have emerged online

German publication GalaxyClub has shared some information about the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets.

Here's What We Know

Like the current lineup, the new series of devices will get three models:

  • Galaxy Tab S9: SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), SM-X718U (5G US)
  • Galaxy Tab S9+: SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), SM-X818U (5G US)
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), SM-X918U (5G US)

The devices will be sold in Europe, Asia and the US with Wi-Fi as well as fifth-generation network support. All three new products should hit the market with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor. Incidentally, the same chip is found in the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones.

The tablets will also get OLED displays with higher refresh rates, improved cameras, AKG speakers, IP67 protection and the Android 13 operating system with One UI 5.1.

When We Can Expect It

There is no exact date for the Galaxy Tab S9 series to be announced yet. Presumably, the new products will be unveiled in the summer.
