Here's What We Know

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul has announced his country's commitment to continue supporting Ukraine in this difficult period, so they will provide a new large financial package of humanitarian aid.

Seoul plans to provide $2.3 billion in aid, in addition to allocating $12 million for the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers through the NATO Trust Fund.

This is not the first time that South Korea and Ukraine have cooperated in the humanitarian sphere. In addition to providing financial assistance, South Korea is an active player in the aid effort: the country supplies various medical and technical equipment and demining equipment.
