We are talking about the submarine USS Rhode Island, which arrived in Gibraltar on November 1. The submarine is capable of carrying 24 Trident II ballistic missiles. Their maximum range is 18,000 km and their flight speed is 29,000 km/h.

The submarine has entered the Mediterranean Sea. It can carry up to 200 nuclear warheads on board. The Italian newspaper la Repubblica calls the submarine's appearance in the region "a message to Putin".
