The BlackBerry brand has not pleased us with new gadgets for a long time. And recently the company has officially stopped supporting the proprietary operating system BlackBerry OS... After that, many decided that BlackBerry was dead, but it is not.

What to expect?

In 2021, Onward Mobility, which is licensed to produce phones under the BlackBerry brand, promised to release its first 5G smartphone... In addition to supporting fifth-generation networks, it was also supposed to receive a physical keyboard. The network even appeared conceptual renders of an unusual device...

However, the novelty was never shown last year. Onward Mobility says 2021 was such a difficult year for the company that it was unable to release a new phone. She faced various delays that prevented her from releasing the first 5G-enabled BlackBerry phone in 2021. But the premiere will still take place - already in 2022.

The gadget is expected to be released in several markets such as North America, Europe and Asia. The company is said to be working on it with Foxconn FIH Mobile.
