Since then, Bitcoin has risen in price a little more. At the time of this writing, the price of the coin is just under $ 40,970, which is almost 3% less than a day ago. A week ago, cryptocurrency was 11% more expensive. The fall began on January 6, 2022 against the backdrop of events in Kazakhstan, where Internet access was cut off due to protests, due to which the activities of mining companies were suspended.

Recall that at the end of autumn, Bitcoin set a historic maximum, having risen in price to almost $ 69,000. Since then, the rate has fallen by about 41%.
