Snapdragon 870, 12GB RAM and Android 12 - Redmi K50 specs revealed

On Geekbench 5 software, I tested the Redmi K50 smartphone. The technical characteristics of the upcoming novelty have appeared in the benchmark database.

What is known

The model is numbered 22021211RC. The last symbol means that we are talking about the Chinese version of the smartphone. Redmi K50, like its predecessor in the face of Redmi K40, will be equipped with a mobile 7nm Snapdragon 870 processor with a record maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz.

The tested version is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and runs under the Android 12 operating system. Naturally, a more modest modification will also appear on sale. In particular, with 8 GB of RAM. Apparently, the Android 12 OS will be supplemented by the MIUI 13 shell.

The result of the Redmi K50 in the single core test is 963 points. In the mode using all the cores, the smartphone was able to give 3123 points.

The model is expected to be announced next month. It is possible that Redmi K50 will enter the global market as POCO F4. As a reminder, POCO F3 is the international version of the Redmi K40 model.
