Nvidia, unexpectedly for everyone, has released a new major update for the Shield TV set-top box.
What is known
We are talking about Android 11. The new version of the OS has already begun to be distributed over the air to devices around the world. With the software update, the gadget received support for one-time app permissions, Google Assistant search for programs, Auto Low Latency Mode, improved Gboard TV keyboard, cloud service support GeForce NOW and much more.
Recall NVIDIA Shield TV came out in 2015 with Android Lollipop on board. The device supports 4K content playback, has 3 GB of RAM, as well as 16 GB of ROM (+ microSD up to 128 GB). The gadget is running a proprietary Tegra X1 chip.
