The Settlers relaunch gets a release date - beta test starts in a week

Ubisoft has released the official trailer and announced the release date for The Settlers reboot.

City-building strategy will be available for PC on March 17 this year. But gamers will be able to play The Settlers as early as next week. On January 20, the closed beta test of the game starts. It will last until January 24th. To participate, you must submit an application on The Settlers website. The beta preload will open on January 18th.

Recall that The Settlers is an old series of video games in the RTS genre. The first game appeared in 1993. When developing a restart, Ubisoft focused on the third and fourth parts of the series. In The Settlers 2022, we will see the old gameplay and updated graphics.

The game will offer three modes: multiplayer (1x1, 2x2 and 4x4), custom battles and single player campaign. The plot part will be devoted to the adventures of Ilari farmers who went to look for new lands.
