An insider showed renders and revealed detailed specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 + and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

German insider Roland Quandt has published high-quality renderings and basic details of the yet unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 tablets.

What is known

So, the basic model of the line Galaxy Tab S8 will receive an 11-inch display with LTPS TFT-matrix and WQXGA resolution. The panel will support 120Hz refresh rate and 500nit brightness. The device should be powered by a 8000 mAh battery. As for the Galaxy Tab S8+, it will have a 12.7-inch screen with a 120Hz AMOLED matrix and a 10900 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a 14.6-inch display with WQXGA+ resolution and the same matrix. The battery in the top model will increase to 11200 mAh.

All three new items will receive support for 45-watt charging, the Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.1, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Devices should be delivered with RAM from 8 to 16 GB and a drive up to 512 GB. The memory of the tablets can be expanded with a microSD card. As for the cameras, the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 + will have three of them: a dual main camera with 13 MP + 6 MP (“wide”) and a single front camera with 12 MP. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have one more cameras: a dual main camera with 13 MP + 6 MP (wide) and a dual front camera with 12 MP + 12 MP (wide).

Price and when to expect

According to previous leaks, new items will cost in Europe from 680 euros. The release of devices should take place in the first or second quarter.
