120 smartphones per minute – Xiaomi boasted sales of Redmi Note models

While Xiaomi fans outside of China wait for the release global versions of Redmi Note 11, the company boasted of the success of the Redmi Note series.

Xiaomi announced that the total sales of Redmi Note models of all generations have reached 240,000,000 units. At the same time, the milestone of 200,000,000 million smartphones was taken eight months ago. Thus, on average, for eight months, the company sold 120 phones every minute, i.e. 2 pieces per second.

Recall that the original Redmi Note smartphone was released in March 2014. He received a MediaTek MT6592 processor, made according to the standards of 28-nm technology, and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The eighth generation family, which includes the Redmi Note 8 / 8T and Redmi Note 8 Pro models, is still the most popular, selling over 30 million units within three months of launch. The presentation of smartphones is expected in the spring Redmi Note 12.
