Aqara Smart Door Lock A100 Pro: smart door lock with Apple HomeKit support

Xiaomi has introduced a new smart home device under the Aqara brand.

What is known

We are talking about the door lock Aqara Smart Door Lock A100 Pro. The novelty supports seven unlock methods, including a fingerprint scanner (98.6% recognition rate), NFC tag, password, Bluetooth, as well as using the virtual key Apple Home Key. That is, you can use your iPhone or Apple Watch to open the lock.

Of the interesting things in the new product, it is also worth noting electromagnetic protection, anti-blocking of the door lock, as well as a special chip location. It cannot be damaged from the front of the device. The lock is powered by eight AA batteries. According to the manufacturer, they will last for 540 days of operation of the device. Naturally, the gadget is connected to the Xiaomi smart home system. 

Price and when to expect

Aqara Smart Door Lock A100 Pro has already started selling in China. The issue price is $362.
