Back in 2015, Garmin released smart watch epix. And only now the company has introduced a successor - Garmin Epix 2nd generations. The manufacturer positions them as an active smartwatch premium class.

What do they offer?

There are several versions to choose from with sapphire crystal or Corning Gorilla Glass DX on top of the screen and a titanium or steel frame. But the display is the same for everyone - 1.3 inch AMOLED with mode always-on and a resolution of 454×454 pixels. In addition, the advantage of the sapphire version is the pre-installed topographic maps. On the other hand, in another model, they can simply be loaded.

In addition, the watch offers access to several global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO), equipped with altimeter, barometer and 3-axis electronic compass. The case has a water resistance of 10 ATM, so you can safely go on an extreme journey with such a gadget.

Garmin Epix (Gen 2) can track 24/7 heart rate, respiration, stress levels and sleep quality, support various sports modes and help you improve your workouts.

Also, an indisputable plus is good autonomy: one charge will last up to 16 days, but with the included GPS - only 42 hours.

Price

Garmin Epix (Gen 2) is already available for purchase on the official website of the manufacturer. The stainless steel version is $900, the titanium version with sapphire glass is $1,000.
