AMD RDNA 2 graphics in Exynos 2200 are 21.5% weaker than Adreno 730 in Snapdragon 8 Gen1

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with mobile processor Exynos 2200 has been tested in several benchmarks. The company's new single-chip system turned out to be weaker than Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

What is known

In AnTuTu, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra failed to score more than 1,000,000 points, as competitors do. Result 965 974 "parrot". True, the difference was about 5%, which you can close your eyes to.

In Geekbench, the lag has become even more noticeable. In Single-Core mode, the Exynos 2200 chip scored 1108 points, and in Multi-Core mode it scored 3516 points. For comparison, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 smartphones average 1200 points and 3800 points respectively. Here the difference is already 7.5%. At the same time, the Dimensity 9000 performs even better in Geekbench - about 1300 in Single-Core and almost 4500 in Multi-Core.

Finally, in the Aztec Ruins test in the GFXBench software, the Xclipse graphics accelerator on the RDNA 2 architecture failed. In the graphics test, the GPU delivered 109 FPS, losing out to the Adreno 730 (Snapdragon 8 Gen1) chip, which shows 139 FPS, over 20%.
