The first teaser of the Lord of the Rings series appeared [Video]

Rings of Power is the title of Amazon Prime Video's new Lord of the Rings series. The streaming service released the debut video almost nine months before the premiere.

In a one-minute video, we hear the voice of an elf Galadriel. She talks about all the Rings that were forged by an elf Celebrimbor. Three Rings were received by the elves, seven went to the dwarves, nine more - to mortal people, and the dark lord Sauron  received the Ring of Omnipotence.

The first season of Rings of Power will premiere on September 2, 2022. The action of the series will unfold in the Second Age of Middle-earth, i.е. several millennia before the events shown in the Peter Jackson film trilogy. The first season will include eight episodes. In total, Amazon plans to remove at least five seasons, not counting spin-offs.
