Xiaomi introduced universal flash drives for smartphones and PCs

Xiaomi has released two flash drives that are equipped with a USB-A port and a symmetrical USB-C connector.

What is known

Flash drives are compatible with both personal computers and mobile devices, including smartphones. Xiaomi offers users two flash drives to choose from: 64 GB and 128 GB.

Regardless of the capacity, the case is made of zinc alloy and is protected from moisture. According to the manufacturer, the flash drives support the USB 3.2 Gen1 standard and have a maximum read speed of 150 MB/s.

Drives can be connected to computers based on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11, as well as macOS version 10.6 and higher. In addition, flash drives are compatible with Android tablets and smartphones starting from v4.4 KitKat.

The cost of a 64 GB USB drive was about $16 (¥99). The 128GB version is priced at almost $27 (¥169).
