'Fight Club' premiered in China, but with a different ending

Chinese streaming service Tencent Video was the first in the country to show the film "Fight Club". However, the ending of the picture was changed.

What is known

Of course, no one began to reshoot the 1999 film, but the credits came to the rescue. In the original version, the Narrator kills Tyler Durden and watches along with Marla to "Where is My Mind?" behind exploding skyscrapers.

The Chinese version of "Fight Club" did without this scene. Instead, text appears on the screen stating that the police arrested all the participants in Project Mayhem, defused the bombs, and sent Tyler to a psychiatric clinic, where he stayed until 2012.
