This is what Motorola's new flagship will look like with a 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chip and a 144Hz screen

A couple of weeks ago, rumors appeared on the net that Motorola, in addition to Moto Edge X30 Pro, working on another flagship smartphone. This information has now been confirmed by a reliable source.

What kind of animal

We are talking about a model with the code name Frontier 22 (reference to the Galaxy S22?). The image and detailed specifications of the novelty were published by the German portal Winfuture.

The smartphone will receive a large 6.67-inch POLED display with curved edges, a hole for the front camera of 60 MP, FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel will support HDR10+.

Under the hood, new items should install a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8475 processor. Presumably, we are talking about an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+?). The chip will be paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Also, the device is credited with stereo speakers, a USB-C connector with support for DisplayPort 1.4, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, an under-screen scanner and a 4500 mAh battery with 125 W wired charging and 30 or 50 W wireless charging.

The main camera in the novelty will be triple. The main sensor will receive a resolution of 200 MP. It will be complemented by a 50 MP wide-angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens with double optical approximation. Motorola Frontier 22 should be shipped with Android 12 operating system.

Price and when to expect

If everything goes according to plan, the device will be presented in July. No new pricing yet.
