Apple has been fined by the Dutch Consumer and Markets Authority for failing to comply with an order that relates to the operation of mobile applications.
Late last year, the regulator ordered the Cupertino-based company to add alternative payment methods to dating apps. Apple reported that it had complied with the order, but the regulator said the manufacturer did nothing.
As a result, Apple was fined € 5,000,000. The Office also noted that a weekly company from the United States will be fined € 5,000-50,000 until it complies with the December order of the regulator.
