The new Resident Evil sold 5.7 million copies

Capcom published its report for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31. In particular, there the company shared its success in selling its games and key series.

Games:

• Resident Evil Village  - 5.7 million copies.
• Monster Hunter Rise - 8 million copies.
• Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin - 1.4 million copies.

Series:

• Resident Evil - 123 million copies.
• Monster Hunter - 78 million copies.
• Street Fighter  - 47 million copies.
• Mega Man  - 37 million copies.
• Devil May Cry  - 25 million copies.
• Dead Rising  - 14 million copies.

Capcom also has a list of "platinum hits" - it includes games with a circulation of over a million copies. However, the list has not been updated since September 2021, so we do not know what games are in it now.
