Vivo Y75 5G: 50 MP triple camera, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and 5000 mAh battery for $290

Vivo held an event in India where it announced a new Y-series budget smartphone.

What is the model

The device was called Vivo Y75 5G. It received an IPS display with a diagonal of 6.58 inches, FHD + resolution and a waterdrop notch. It has a 16 MP front camera. The main one, in turn, received three sensors with a 50 MP main module. It is complemented by a 2 MP depth sensor and the same module for macro photography.

Powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor Dimensity 700 is paired with an integrated 5G modem, 12 GB of RAM (8 GB of physical memory and 4 GB of virtual memory) and 128 GB of storage. If desired, it can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1 TB. The Vivo Y75 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It supports 18W charging. 

Price and when to expect

Vivo Y75 5G has already started selling in India for $290. The smartphone is available in two colors: Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black. Whether the novelty will appear in other regions is not known.
