Recently, in his podcast, Grab spoke about Microsoft's plans to launch a co-op game in the Monster Hunter genre.

According to the insider, Microsfot seeks to diversify the Game Pass library and would very much like to add the super-popular Monster Hunter to its collection. According to Hornbeam, Microsofy has commissioned Certain Affinity, a project that usually serves as an "apprentice" and helps other studios develop. For example, she was involved in the development of Halo: Infinite and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and was also responsible for the multiplayer mode in Doom (2016).

Meanwhile, in mid-January  Steam   started Monster Hunter Rise. And it started well - the peak attendance of the novelty reached 134 thousand users, and the rating of approval from players was 87% based on 11,366 reviews.
